Aim of this website is that to create ways to question thinking about queer theory, how to form attitudes towards information production while making it easier to think about queer theory, witnessing primarily local pressures that are upon queer subjectivities and their experience against violence and the solutions they find against this violence, seeing how they stand common ideas and fight them.

The word Queer with meanings like ‘weird’, ‘creepy’, ‘shady’, ‘bad’, ‘suspicious’, etc. was used in order to scorn homosexuals during late 1980s; however, it was embraced on purpose and strategically by the people who are against sexual classification and discrimination and it became the name of the movement that gives the struggle of equal right demands outside of heteronormatively imposed identities.

Queer questions the concept of me and other in the society where heterosexuality is accepted as norm. It advocates that sex/gender cannot be formed only in a single context and tries to convert and transform heterosexual view and regime that are, through changing societal conditions, wrapped around every field of life from law to economy, art etc.. Through such queries queer theory is developed.
